End of the bad festivals (Drum-offs)

Today marked the end of the band festivals!
Which means, sadly...
All seniors, will now... never... have a band festival with the USC band ;=;
*claps* ;===; We'll miss yooouuu.

Anyways it was so much fun XD
We were in a freakin awesome mood... (we as in... the drumline *duh*)
Kish taught us less informed drummers what superman and strawberry shortcake means -.-"
Then...
a band played the song superman.
Which made us all laugh hysterically. o_o;;
It was a bit sad. and no, I will NOT define those terms.

Intermission... blah blah,
We lined up and warmed up...
Pinscer and Colleen were not there so the bass drums were down to 4 and the tenors down to 1.
(COLLEEN I HOPE YOU'RE OKAY AND CAN GET BACK WITH US SOON! X_x We all know about the car accident -sob-)
Anyways, we had about 2 more bands in front of us before we could go...
And we could not talk at ALL...
so Johnny makes this HUGE inspirational speech which, ironically made us all laugh XDD
then we lined up on the hill.... and had to stay there standing still and quiet for over 30 minutes ._. (or so it felt like... it was a REALLY long time.)
While...
Johnny was making laps around us o_o clapping our hands and shouting inspirational stuff... the ENTIRE time.
And thats impressive if you know the size of our marching band...
So of course we all thought he was on crack...
until he slide the one lap...
and we all concluded he was drunk ^^;; Go Johnny! (he's fine... he wasnt drunk XD)

So blah blah, we go...
then o_O Some guest band from... WV?......
goes...
and they're... fucking professional o_O It was like robots.
And the dancers...
were all the same height...
around the same weight....
same exact hair cut....
same hair color....
same makeup...
Talk. about. losing. any. individuality. you. had. left.

ANYHOO!

The band festival was fcking awesome XD
To sum it up...
Oh and Mr. Jones was not there (cough... the reason why it was awesome... cough...)
